Welcome to Lofty Moments!
I know that there are blogs upon blogs out there giving you advice on everything from DIY soaps to how to bake a wedding cake with 3 ingredients! So why am I adding my voice to an already vocal phenomena? Well, 3 reasons:
1. Because my mama told me to. ...And I do what my mama says! Really though, more than just my mama have told me to put my projects online and now I'm listening. :D
2. Because I'm just like you. Okay, I may not know you. But I am just an average stay-at-home-mom-small-business-owner trying to make ends meet, get that "mother of the year" award, offer a hospitable and accommodating home that's pretty and sometimes clean, be a good wife and run a successful business.
3. Because I'm just a little quirky. I swear I go into withdrawal if I go too long without doing something creative. My brother's nickname for me is "Mini Martha Stewart." Granted, that's partly because I'm 5-foot-nothing (hence the "mini") and I tend to always have a project going. And while I'm nowhere near the creative queen herself, I have my own flair for do-it-yourself projects around the home. I'm also going to include suggestions and ideas for event planning and DIY photography which are services I offer with my business.
